Maybe We Are Just Plain Stupid

I bought my cup of coffee the other day. Around the sippy cup lid are the words "Caution. Contents are hot". Well, duh! I didn’t order iced coffee. It just made me wonder if we are so clueless (or litigious) that vendors are required to protect us from ourselves. It’s rather like the warning on the hair dryer: "Do not use in the bath tub."
