Resiliency is not a one-time skill to be pulled out in times of crisis. Many of you know I coined the word presilience ™ for preemptive resilience. In short, resilience is a life skill that can and must be developed and nurtured beginning with our children. Blessed are the Flexible - They Shall Never be Bent out of Shape

Little did I know I would have the opportunity to practice that mantra at my last presentation. Here I was: the closing keynoter for a major media company. The presentation was going to be live and streamed to six locations throughout the United States. I was speaking at their corporate campus. We checked out all the audio visual components while the group was at lunch. Yes, the embedded music worked on cue and pumped up the room with energy. The slides transitioned perfectly. I opted for the handheld microphone with better sound quality. All systems, GO!

Pizza Maker Proves Powerful Resiliency Steps; Saves Dough and $-dough

In 2014 the Rustic Crust was on track for record sales of its all-natural pizza crust. Investors were excited about soon-to-launch products that were gluten-free, thin crusts, and basil pesto. Founder and CEO Brad Sterl was thrilled. Then-disaster! Fire burned the rural New Hampshire factory to the ground on March 6.
